  • We recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure availability for your wedding date, especially if your wedding is taking place during peak season (November-March). However, you are able to book 4 weeks out from your event date, just drop us a note to check availability.

  • Typically, 3-4 days before your wedding date.

  • Not at all. Every rental includes a simple instruction card. If they can use a phone, they can use this. Point, press record, let the day happen.

  • Yes, we ship anywhere in Aotearoa via courier. Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown, a vineyard in Hawke's Bay, or a backyard in Southland, we've got you covered.

  • Once we receive the camcorder back, we aim to deliver your finished wedding film within 3 weeks.

  • Both. Your edited film and every single clip from the raw footage will be returned to you in full. The unedited moments are often the most precious. You'll be glad you have them.

  • We test and set up each camcorder before it is packaged for shipping, but we still recommend you follow our instructions to test each camcorder before the big day. If for some reason the camcorder is not working, please email us at hello@downmemorylane.co.nz right away and we will expedite a new one.

  • Absolutely. Our camcorder rental and editing service works beautifully for any occasion worth remembering. Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, christenings, a birth of a child or any gathering where the people you love are in the same room. Get in touch and we'll make it work.
